Profile	A first mate aboard a Posian Islands naval ship, his usual station is as a lookout in the crow's nest, where his sharp eyes can spot distant land, foul weather, or lurking pirate ships. He harbors a special dislike of pirates and any rexal who seeks to interfere with the blooming trade enterprise being built in the Posian Isles. Aquila himself hails from the prestigious Exardes filiation in the Dome, but he claims stronger ties to the Posian Islands and rarely acknowledges his full name, much to the dismay of the rest of his family who assumed that his original departure from the Dome was merely to secure a new trading partner for the clan. However, being the fourth son, he has not been expected to take on the mantle of leading the family's trade empire. Which suits Aquila just fine, he has nothing against business, and many would say he's certainly adept at it, but its not where his heart lays.
Appearance	Tall but slightly built, Aquila has long arms but an otherwise rather wiry frame for a rexal. Most innkeepers would assume upon initially meeting him that he is sorely underfed, but he eats as heartily as any other rex. That energy however is quickly burned as he clambers up and across the rigging of the ships to do his job. His armored plates, much like the rest of him, are rather slight in build, in that they are quite thin despite their abnormal length and breadth. There are more than a couple rex which will poke that he really should go see the tonsor (barber) and have those unruly spikes filed into a more pleasing shape. Aquila rarely acquiesces to this, for he insists the rigging ropes don't care what he looks like so long as the job is done.
