Rules

  • Breeze is a modifier that allows for the use of one extra adjacent slider for any other markings.
  • Breeze cannot color the basecoat.
  • Breeze cannot add extra colors to a marking that would not otherwise allow extra colors.
  • Breeze must pull from one of the allowed Adjacent sliders for the Rexal's base coat on our slider color wheel.
  • Users must state the color slider used for Breeze during design submission.
  • Breeze isn't bound to the same adjacent color slider used by another marking; it can use a different adjacent slider in the same design.
  • If the marking that Breeze overlays specifies it must be darker or lighter than the base coat, Breeze must comply, and if the selected slider can't meet this condition, another slider, white, or black must be used.
  • Free markings and those with special color rules cannot be affected by Breeze.
    • When using Gradients and Nuances, you are allowed to pull your color from a separate adjacent slider on any marking if your geno has Breeze!

Special Interactions

Some markings interact uniquely with Breeze, creating distinctive presentations when combined. Here's a list of these special markings.

Gradients

When using Gradients on a design that has Breeze, you are allowed to pull your Gradient color from a different slider than the one the marking uses! You may either color a marking fully with Breeze and have it gradient within itself from one Adjacent slider color to a color from the same Adjacent slider, or you may gradient from one Basecoat or Adjacent slider color to a second Adjacent slider's color!

Please note that even with Breeze, you can only use a maximum of two Adjacent sliders in a design!

Here's an example of Breeze ONLY affecting a gradient! Here's an example of Breeze affecting the whole marking!

Breeze-Only Examples

Breeze must pull from one allowed slider.
All markings affected by Breeze should use the same slider.
Breeze cannot pull from the Arcane portion of any slider.
