It's not every day a new shop in Atlas gets the residents talking - shops come and go every day, keeping up with the traffic and changing trends, after all. But it seems like you can't go five steps from your house without hearing about fashion parlor this, new stylist that, and Rexals asking if you've stopped by yet. It's easy to tell the Rexals who have - they can't help flaunting their makeovers, or the ideas they've been given for improvements on their look already. Even some of the street criers are sporting a fancy new style, one winking at you from under their carefully coifed hair.
Come to think of it - why haven't you stopped by Arsenios' Parlor yet?
It's a pleasant walk, though a little further out of Atlas' main thoroughfares than you would have expected, given the buzz about it. In fact, you can't help but think that if the criers hadn't told you what to look for, you may have missed it!
The shop is surprisingly humble, but beautifully decorated in wind chimes and brightly colored fabrics. The usual fenced in courtyard has been left more open, and has a few seats arranged around a small cistern. The sparkle of the mosaics across the bottom catches your eye - a pink fish with flowing fins glimmers beneath the shallow water as if dancing.
Stepping further into the courtyard and looking around, you note the little covered area towards the back houses a delightful lounging couch - and, luxuriously stretched out across it, a Rexal matching the oh-so-glamorous description of Arsenios you were given!
"Oh gracious, darling, hello!!"
In an instant, the stylist - Arsenios - is on his feet and crossing the distance between you, reaching out to take hold of your paws in a rather affectionate greeting.
"Goodness but yes, I see you are in need of my services! How delightful that you came, my mind is simply bursting with inspiration already!"
Before you can object or ask any questions, he guides you over to a chair and sits you down, reaching a paw up to tilt your face around. He makes several thoughtful noises and hums, tapping his chin before finally releasing you and stepping back.
"Oh, but enough about my ideas! Tell me, show me, I'm dying to know, don't make me beg! What is your ideal you~?"
Objective
Arsenios, the fabulous new stylist in Atlas, wants to give everyone the chance to try his services, and let their glamorous inner selves out! His salon and fashion parlor is now open for business - and what better way to promote it than helping beautify the Rexals of the Dome, starting with you?
Though he may wish otherwise, Arsenios only has so much time to spend on makeovers! As such, only ONE Rexal per player may enter, and be eligible for both the Event MP Bonus and the Reward.
The Reward Certificate is guaranteed with your entry, and is bound to the Rexal you enter with! Not only that, but your entry also includes a small chance that your fashion sense may impress Arsenios enough that he wants to spend more time with you, earning you a breeding slot to him!

This event is lore compliant!
This means it must occur within the world of Rexalia. Non-Rexal characters are not permitted (including other ARPG, humans, OCs, etc).
All standard art rules apply. You may only get the Reward once, regardless of how many Rexals you own! This will be issued to your account as a Certificate for one of Arsenios' services, bound specifically to the Rexal who participated in the event. Only the Rexal being 'rolled' is eligible for the +5 Quest/Event MP bonus. Image, Literature and RP Collabs are permitted and up to 3 players may participate in a collab. Collabs must feature a Rexal from all participants, and all rex being rolled must be fulfilling the prompt. Comics are permitted, but must still meet all art requirements.
Please Note!!
- The power of Arsenios' dressup wardrobe allows for any lore-compliant clothing/accessories, as well as the following items to be freely depicted for your entry in this event without having them applied to your import.
- Any combination of Charmed Comb/Charmed Chisel, Charmed Bandages, Charmed Common Paints, Charmed Cosmetics, Charmed Clay, and/or Charmed Marble.
HOWEVER! This item allowance only extends to this event! Any Paints, Cosmetics or Marble will wear off and will need to be added to the import officially to be counted outside this event.
Charmed Eye of Rex, Charmed Detego Arca, and Charmed Medical Kit are not allowed for this event. Arsenios is not equipped to have an amputation or rainstorm in his courtyard! In addition, though he works miracles of fashion, Arsenios does not have Marking Crystals for you to try on!

- The minimum image size is 500x500px
Backgrounds must be full color (greyscale allowed) and meet the 3 Planes OR Elements standard. All Rexals present must be at least 150x150px, full colour (greyscale allowed), shaded and show 5 body sections. This applies to Arsenios as well. The city of Atlas must be clearly depicted!
Literature
- The minimum word count for one Rexal is 1000 words.
Each additional player-owned Rex increases the minimum word count by +400. Arsenios is required to be present, and actively contribute towards the story. Rexals should be present for the majority of the story. The plot should center around the event prompt.

Now is your chance to strut your stuff! Let your Rexal's dream ideal for their appearance shine, and show Arsenios so he can help make it a reality! This could be putting up an illusion for him to work directly with, putting on cosmetics together, or sitting right in that comfy chair while he styles you accordingly!

Arsenios isn't 100% against taking a stroll out of his parlor, but is not interested in leaving the city streets! If the lighting is nice, he could be enticed to go to a park, but keep it to one in Atlas proper, please~.
