Celebration of Colors

Story

Joy is one of the greatest weapons against sorrow. Few know this fact better than the citizens of the Posian Isles, who persevere despite the many hardships of their dreary home. In celebration of another year past and the joys of which they hold dear, towns across the islands are adorned in a rainbow of colors. Nearly every home features patterned banners, bright pigments smeared against the walls, or other decorations meant to stand out against the dull.


What does your Rexal choose to celebrate?

 

Objective

 

 

Draw or write about your Rexal partaking in the festivities and celebrating the joy in their lives. Are they particularly thankful for a certain someone, proud of their life's journey, or perhaps simply here to enjoy the color around them? What joys does your Rexal recognize in their life?

 

Though joy is universal, this particular celebration is exclusive to the Posian Islands. As such, your entry MUST take place there (though your Rex can of course travel in order to attend!).

 

 

 


Rules

This event is semi-lore compliant!

    - Your scene should clearly take place in the Posian Islands., but it does not have to be in a town or civilization.

    - Your scene must feature some form of decoration for the celebration!

    - Decorations cannot depict any religious, hateful, or obviously modern symbols (ex. brand logos). Though this is Rexalia, we want all of our players to feel safe!

    - LGBTQ+ pride flags ARE allowed, however!

    - Non-Rexalia characters are permitted.


    - You may commission another artist to make your event entry.

    - To claim the reward, you must fill out the appropriate form in the MP Counter

    yourself.

    - Each entry may be submitted for reward claiming by a maximum of 3 players. A Rexal owned by each player must feature in the artwork and meet the minimum requirements listed below.

    - If an entry features more than 3 player's rexals, the description must mention who is eligible to use the piece for reward claiming.
Images
  • Must be at least
    500x500px.Canvases may be manipulated to 600x400px or 400x600px but should not be thinner than that.
  • Both the rex and background must be
    full color.The colours of the rex should match the import - monochrome including greyscale, and 'palette challenges' are not permitted.
  • Shading is optional.
  • Backgrounds must meet the Planes OR Elements standard.
  • Rexals must be at least
    150x150px,When a 150x150px box is drawn on top of your rex, the rex must touch all 4 sides of the box with some part of its body.

Literature
  • The minimum word count for one rexal is 600 words.
  • Each additional
    rolled'Rolled' is the term used to refer to the rex receiving loot
    rex increases the minimum word count by
    +300 words.A story with 2 rex would require 900 words, 3 would require 1200 words.
  • Each additional
    unrolled, player-owned rex'Unrolled' is the term used to refer to the rex not receiving loot. Rex who appear extremely briefly do not require this increase.
    increases the minimum word count by +200 words.
  • The plot should center around the task(s).
  • Each rolled rex must be
    "on task"
      A rex is considered "on task" while they are...
    • Accepting the job/request for help.
    • Preparing for/discussing the task.
    • Completing/attempting the task.
    • Packing up after the task.
    • Journeying to/from the task.
    for at least 70% of the total word count.

Rewards

This event will give you x3 Charmed Sparkling Paints and full set of four Woven Collars!

You may only earn this reward once, regardless of how many entries your Rex feature in.

Each Rexal who meets the minimum requirements will be eligible for the +20MP Event/Quest bonus. This bonus will be added automatically upon submission approval.
